Our Love Story

It all started when I met Devanté Lewis on September 19th, 2014.

We first met at a Liberty University hockey game. A lot of people do not believe in love at first sight, but after meeting Dev I know that it is such a thing. After that night, I remember talking to one of my best friend's and telling her that I met the type of man that I want to marry. Let me just say that at this time in my life I was not looking for a boyfriend. But little did I know that I truly found the perfect match, the one my soul loves.

And so it began.

Devanté and I started dating. And two weeks after we met, he told me that he was in love with me. We then made a spontaneous trip to Pennsylvania so Dev could meet my family. We then traveled up to Toronto, Canada to celebrate Canadian thanksgiving with Devanté's family. On the way up, we stopped at Niagara Falls, and Dev asked me to be his girlfriend.

Since then we have had many "firsts" together- our first month apart, our first fight, new jobs, new apartments, new adventures and stories to tell. We loved each other with a love so strong, that nothing would ever be able to tear us apart.

After years of searching for him, I knew he was my one and only. Devanté was everything and more that I have ever wanted in a husband. And we knew we were perfect for each other.

Devanté proposed to me on April 8th, 2015. It was the happiest day of my life. Two months later, we promised our love forever on June 14th.
